This process does not therefore include fixed plant costs and is faster than traditional procedures (around 4000 copies per hour), but the price may be considered to be proportional to the required number of prints: the cost-copy is lower than that of a laser printer, but superior than that of a medium-high offset-run, and as such is suitable for smaller quantities.
